Rinse after use, wring out, and let air dry.
When it does need a proper clean, hand wash where you can. If it's going in the machine, use a cold gentle cycle with a little mild detergent, and wash it on its own or with similar colours. Never above 40°C, no bleach, no disinfectant, no fabric softener, and never tumble dry.
It will go stiff as it dries out. That's completely normal for chamois, and a few seconds under the tap brings it straight back. Just don't bend or pull it while it's hard.

Love these towels, I’ve used many of the chammy leather towels in my 5 years of grooming and these are by far the softest and most absorbent!
As a dog groomer, finding a good quality product to dry dogs with is rare!! I resorted to drying with standard towels which meant the washing machine and dryer were going on every single day! Wow!! Can this towel be used on dogs of every size?
Absolutely. Our towel is designed to comfortably dry dogs of all sizes and coat types, from small pups to larger breeds.
How do I use the Puddle Pups towel?
Wrap the towel around your dog and gently pat or press to absorb water. Wring it out as needed and keep going. Rinse and air dry after use.

Is this safe for my dog’s fur?
Yes! Our towel is soft, non-abrasive, and fur-friendly, making it suitable for curly, smooth, long, short, and double coats.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THE TOWEL TO GO ROCK HARD AFTER USE?
Yes! Totally normal.
Our chamois-style towel is designed to absorb loads of water, so once it dries out it can feel stiff or “rock hard.” That’s just it doing its job.
To soften it again, simply run it under water for a few seconds, give it a quick wring, and it’ll go flexible and ready to use.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THE TOWEL TO BE SLIGHTLY DAMP WHEN IT ARRIVES?

HOW DO I WASH IT?
Easy: rinse, wring, reuse.
For a deeper clean, pop it in the wash on a cool/low temp cycle with mild detergent. Skip fabric softener (it can reduce absorbency). Air dry is best.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY TOWEL?
- Your Puddle Pups towel may arrive slightly damp in its tube. This keeps it soft and ready to use. It’s perfectly fine to store it this way for short periods.
If you’re using the towel regularly, simply rinse, wring it out, fold it, and allow it to dry between uses. It will dry firm (even rock hard!). This is completely normal and part of how the material works. When you’re ready to use it again, just re-wet it for a few seconds, and it will soften immediately.
If you want to store it back in the tube, lightly dampen it first so it becomes flexible enough to fold. Avoid storing the towel damp in the tube for long periods without use, as this can lead to musty smells or mould.

We want you (and your dog) to love your towel. If something’s not quite right, you can return unused items in their original condition within 14 days of delivery.
Once we’ve received and checked your return, we’ll process your refund as quickly as possible.
